Who we are

San Antonio Style Wrestling is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to empowering the Hispanic community, active military personnel, veterans, and children/young adults with special needs through the sport of wrestling.

Wrestling serves as a transformative tool for physical fitness, mental well-being, and character development. Our mission is to foster resilience, discipline, and community among underserved populations, providing them with opportunities to thrive both on and off the mat.

At San Antonio Style Wrestling, our vision is to cultivate an environment where youth and aspiring athletes develop not only as wrestlers but as confident individuals and future leaders in their communities. We believe in the power of wrestling to instill discipline, resilience, and self confidence - values that extend beyond the ring into all aspects of life. Through expert training, mentorship, and community engagement, we strive to empower students of all backgrounds by equipping them with the skills necessary to navigate life's challenges with integrity and perseverance. Our program fosters personal growth by encouraging goal setting, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, ensuring that each participant reaches their full potential both on and off the mat.

Additionally we are committed to developing leaders who will give back to their communities by providing positive role models and emphasizing the importance of service. We inspire our athletes to take initiative, support others, and contribute meaningfully to society. At SASW, we don’t just build wrestlers, we build champions in life.
